The Hawke's Bay footballers were passengers by train to Wellington last erening, where the; play to-day. Mr G. Elliott, secretary of the Manawatu Union, has recoired a wire from the Taranaki Union stating that they were willing to postpone the match with Manawatu until the 16th of September, Tlie Manawatu team will meet the Hawke's Bay reps at Palmerston next Friday, and a very exciting contest should be the result.
