Bank Note Issue Bill
_. (PEN PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, September 1. The Bank Koto Issue Bill, introduced by Mr Ward to-night, is an act to make bank notes a first charge on bank assets, and to temporarily enable the Gforernor to declare bank notes to be legal tender, . and to proride for the retirement of same during a limited time, and under special circumstances. The Bill was passed.
