Goodbeliere, section 13, Block XI, Apitt. A short discussion arose in reference to the aggregation of sections in Waituna taken up by Mr G. V. Shannon and family, which comprised 530 acres of first-class land, but the title was granted. — Deferred till next meeting, when Mr •Shannon's attendance will be requested. The declaration from Donald Clark, in reference to his late son's section at Umutoi was accepted, and transfer to H. Hines to be approved upon the formal application being maHe. The Commissioner stated that tho Island of Maim had been reserved for defence purposes, as it commanded the entrance to Porirua Harbor. At present it was let for L 52 a year. It was decided to lease the lend for fourteen years, weighted with LSO for improvements. Mr G. Green is to be asked to effect double improvements on section 1500, Bunnythorpe. A large number of notices were ordered to be sent to settlers in arrears with im» proveruents. On the Commissioner's suggestion, it was decided to ask the Government to set aside, for ordinary selection, 66,000 acres on the Waituarino Block The Board adjourned at 8 p.m.
