The Amateur Athletic Association of Canada has endorsed tho proposal for a Pau.Bnttamc meeting at London in 1894. Washington, August 31. The Committee of the Senate has amended Wilson's Bill, dealing with the silver question, and it is now identical with Vorhie'a measure. The Senatorsintorested in silver admit that tho Bill to repeal tho Shormau Act will pass the Senate. Sherman's advocacy of the repeal and the coinage of silver by the Treasury, has caused a sousation in finan^ cial circles.
