Messrs Nolan, Tonks, and Co. report — At our horse fair on the 19th inst , there was an exceptionally large entry of useful sorts, a preponderance of heavy draughts being brought to hand. Hacks sold at £fi 10s to £18 ; light harness £12 to £17 ; draught horses, £16 to £25 We quote — At Opnnake, on the 28rd inst. : Weaners, £1 15s to £2 6s; yearlings, £2 15s to £3 ; 2-year-old heifers, £3 to £3 2s 6d ; 2-year-old heifers, in calf, £3 15s to £4 ; springers, £4 15s to £5 5s ; dairy cowa, £5 to £6 10s ; 2-year-old i steers, £3 12s to £8 19s. At Manaia, on the 24th inst. : Yearling steers, £2 17s to £2 19a ; weaners, £2 Us 6d ; 2 year-old heifers, £3 5s to £3 12s 6d ; 21-year-old heifers, springing, £4 to £4 10a ; 3-year-old heifers, springing, £5 to £5 12s 6d ; dairy cows, £6 10s to £7 12s 6d ; 2-year old steers, £3 17s to £4. Sheep— Wethers, 13s 2d.
