A band of 1000 strikers attempted to terrorize the men at work at Swansea. During the scuttle that ensued one of the workmen was killed by the assailants. New York, August 28. The unemployed in Chicago broke out in not, overturned carriages, and. beat and stoned the police Rome, August 27. The riots at Naples are being renewed, and in view of possible outrages by Anarchists the garrison has been increased. Nearly 1000 arrests have already been made.
