Giddes, manager of the Pastoral Financial Association of New South Walci, every asxistauce in supplying Indian troopa with frozen mutton from thft colonies. Mr Giddes hat, with t'.ie assistance of Messrs Danger and Grant, completed a scheme, I he contents of which was cabled last month respecting European companies with powerful tlircctorntes being appointed, and shippers aro taking shares. The agreement with the Shipping Company provides for the necesiiiy far different though uniform, temperatures for frozen meat and butter. Mr Giddes considers that the United States and Argentine Republic are formidable rivals. If Victoria nnd New South Wales imitate Queensland in the support accorded, tho Refrigerating j Works Schcmo is sure to be successful.
