The Farmers' Alliance report as follows on their sale at Palineraton yesterday. There was a fairly yood attendance, and biddings were tolerably spirited. We quoin :— Cattlo — store bullocks, £C> 7s fid ; fnt cows, £C> l 2g Gd ; springing heifers, IT> ; 18-month cattle, £<i /3s ; heifers in cnlf, £it 10s to £1] Us; weanors, IWs fld. »Shoop--Fat ewes, 12s; poor owes in lamb, Os Od. Mr Matthew Henry reports ;— Cuttle came forward in fair number!) to the Hanawatu Lire Stock Auction Market, but succp were not represented. The cattle wore almost entirely female stock, and with a sparoe attendance bidding was dull.
