(FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, August 23. The Talune brought from Sydney the imported English stallion Perfection. At the quarterly meeting of the Chamber of Commerce resolutions were carried, unanimously, against the export duty on gum, and a Minister of the Crown being appointed with the power asked for under the proposed Railways Act Amendment Bill. The Auckland Ministers' Association have passed a resolution expressing their warmest sympathy with Inspector Hickson in his efforts to carry out the law re houses ef ill fame. The Gore Dairy Factory Company's balance-sheet just issued shows that the company has' paid 3d per gallon for 68,f>40 gallons of milk duriug the year, and manufactured and 6old 68,058 lb of cheese at 4Ad.
