Apiti Notes
A meeting was held 'here on Friday last, to consider the uuestion of a site for the Wesleyan Church. Four sections were offered, and the site selected was donated by Mr Dillon, being situated on the main road a few chains from the store. Mr G. IJ. Lucas was chosen as the candidate for the vacancy caused in the Pohangina Boad Board's District, by the resignation of Mr Burton. Two questions come up for discussion on Friday next, viz : — Tho advisability of erecting a cheese or dairy factory for Apiti, and tho nomination of two gentlemen for tho appointment of Justices of the Peace.
