VIOLENT ATTACK ON MR GLADSTONE. DEMANDS OF PARNELLITES. (PEH TBKSB ASSOCIATION.) London, August 10. The quarrel between Mr Chamberlain and Mr O'Brien has been adjusted. Iv the Home Rule debate, Mr Chamberlain made a violent attack on Mr Gladstone for retaining Irish member a in the Imperial Parliament. The Premier frequently interrupted him and refused to admit the accuracy of quotations from previous speeches. The Convention of Parnellites in Dublin passed a resolution that no Bill would be acceptable which did not fulfil the conditions l'arnell demanded in 1891 and that no settlement could bo considered final until the prisoners now in confinement were annestied and the claims of evicted tenants satisfied. In the House of Commons, Mr McCartney's amendment to the Ilome Rule Bill was rejected by a majority of 40. All goods will be sold at Genuine Salvage Prices, and purchasers of UOx worth (and upwurd) will bo entitled to a further discount of Is in the pound.
