MONSTER PUBLIC MEETING. (PEB PBES3 ASSOCIATION.) Nklson, August 3. The educational deadlock created a l»ood deal of excitement to-day. The preraisos secured by the Education Board were opened by the Inspector, the newlyappointed head master being the only tenchcr to attend. JS r o boys attonded the school. To«night a monster meeting was held, at which several members of the committee and one member of the Board spoke. A resolution as carried, on the motion of Dr Mackie, cordially approving the action of tho committee and expressing the hope that it will continue to vindicate its rights. A second resolution, urging that the time had arrived for the abolition of the Education Board, and that town committees should carry out the duties in town, aod county councils in the country districts, the inspectors to be under the Department and removable at least every two year?. Copieß are to be sent to the members aud the Minister.
