Education Boards v. School Committees
(PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Nelson, August 1. A deadlock has occurred between the Nelson School Comnutteo and the Education Board. The latter wanted a headmaster transferred from a country district without inviting applications as recommended by the Committee, and the latter hare closed the school. The Board has suggested the re-opening of the school under the new headmaster, and stating a case for t!ie Supreme Court to decide the rights of each party. The Committee declined to re-open the school, and have called a meeting of householders. It is expected that the Board will take forcible possesion of the school in the morning.
