There is no demand for grass seeds ; prime factory cheese, s^d ; Canterbury hams and bacon, 7|d to 8d ; fresh eggs, Is 2d to Is 3d ; preserved do, practically unsaleable ; prime cream separator butter, Is to Is Id ; dairy, 7d 8d and 9d. Poultry Is in excellent request as follows : —fowls, 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; ducks, 4s to 4s 9d ; geese, ss ; turkeys. 6s to 8s per pair.
