The United Farmers' Alliance (Limited) report as follows : — Wheat — The market is steady, and we can only repeat last weeks' quotations, viz., prime Tu&oao velvet, or pearl, 3s 6d ; Hunter's white, 3s 5d ; whole fowl wheat, 3s 3d to 3s 4d; seconds 2s 8d to 2s 9d. Oats— The market remains firm and owing to the firm market in Sydney, and decreased stocks in the South Island, prices are likely to be maintained. We quote, sparrowbills long Tartars for seed. 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; Duns, 2s 9d ; short feed, 2b 5d to 2s 6d ; Danish, 2s Gd. Barley—Cape barley for seed, 3b 6d ; feed do., 3s. Potatoes— The market remains firm at 80 to 85s ; for Derwent'a Kidney esed sorts, £5 to L 5 10. Chuff— Oaten sheaf, 75s to 80s; straw, 50s to 555. liyegrass and Cocksfoot.-— Owing to the demand for seed for spring sowing both are firmer, and machine dressed ryegrnss is worth 4s 9d to 5s 3d ; cocksfoot, 3]d.
