As we ventured to predict would be the case, the New Zealand clients of the N.Z.L. and Mercantile Agency Company have now received their cheques for all balances iv their favor on wool and cereals consigned through the Company to England. Account sales have come to hand within the last few days, and settlements made with the same promptness that has always hitherto characterised the business transactions of the Company. This is a very important matter, as it is strongly indicative of the bona jidc* of tho Company, and the soundness of its business management.
