The Fanners Alliance report that for the time of year the entres both of cattle atid sheep were very large, and the attendance of buyers was very pood at their Bale at Feildine yesterday. Quotations : Fat bullocks, £6 15s ; forward bullocks, £5 l'its Od ; •tore bullocks, £4 15s ; fnt cowf, £4 11a 6d to £5 17s 6d ; springing heifers, £4 15b lo £5 10s ; milch cows, £4 5s to £7 17s 6d ; 2 year steers, £2 17* 6d to £3 7s 6d ; yearlings to 18 months, £2 2s to £2 12s ; weaners, 355. Sheep — Old ewes in lamb, 6s to 7* ; good ewes in iamb, mixed Ages, lis to 12s; wethers. 9s Od to 12a 9d ; woolly lambs, 10s 8d; shorn lambs 7s ld to 10s. Messrs Lowra and lorni held their uaual fortnightly Mock sale at Masterton ; Inet Wednesday. The stock yarded wa* greatly in excess of the catalogue advertised, and with the exception of old ewes and inferior h octets gold at fnll rates Fat wethers brought from 13k 3d to 14» j 3d ; half-bred light-weiKbts, )0a Od ; j store wethers, Us 2d; hulf«bred store! wethers, 8s Od. Beef fully maintained late rates Dairy cows, according to age, Ac, B<>* to LS 12s 6d. Hacks and light | harness horses, from Lf> 2s 6d to L2O ; i draught horses, L2O, with conditional sales to L3O. Young pigs, at 7s Ud, concluded the sale.
