Mr Wilson, the butter expert of Victoria, states it is absolutely essential to engage an expert to protect producers interests in London. Mr Valentine, of New South Wales, concurs in this opinion. The Statist declares that the price of lead is rising, and tbat it will be quite 50 per cent abore the quotations of la.t year. Mr Wilson is strongly opposing the Bill providing for the marking of colonial eheeie, belief ing that such a course is uot required and would not be effective.
