« We understand that Mr Fearon has disposed of hi« well known racehorse Poinsettia, which has been trained by Mr J. Wilson for some tune past, to Mr Sewell, of Stoney Creak. The price has not transpired, but we believe it reached three figu/es. At the Bacing conference it was reaolved that rule 22 of the totalisator be struck out and the following be added to rule 14, after the word commissions, on the second line, " less amount of State tax." The amendment to take effect after Ist of August.
