The football match, Unionists y Bulls, played yesterday afternoon, in, Messrs Gorton and Son's paddocic, " took place under very disadvantageous circumstances, and resulted in a Win for the local team by 10 points to nil, Tries were obtained by Bilderbeck (2), Morris, W. James, and. Parkes, none of which were converted. The visitors were entertained to a supper at the Empire Hotel, aqd.an enjoyable even* ing was spent. The weather was so inclement that the team were unable to return to Bulls last night, so they are at present located in Feilding. The match Bed Stars v Albions did' not eventuate, The New Zealanders in Australia play a team representing Newcastle today, and on Saturdavplay the~return match with New South Wales.
