♦ The Feilding team left for Palmerston on Saturday, but returned after getting as fer nMr Gieson's on account of tbe heavy rain falling at the time. Tbe Raagitikei ?. Hunteryille match, played at Ball* last Saturday, resulted in a win for Hunterviile, by 4 points to nil. Owing to tbe boisterous weatber prevailing on Saturday the Kaiwhakaa v. Pirates and Feildiog ▼■ Kea Kaba matches for tbe junior cup did not take place. A scratch match, Kia Eabas and Awabun v. Palmerston and Pirates, played at Palmerston last Saturday, resulted in a draw, each side scoring a try. The fixtures for the New Zealand rep. team are :— June 29, v. Parramatta district; Ist July, v. New South Wales; 4i h, r. 18 Juniors; 6<h. v. Northern Branch Union, at Newcastle ; Bth, v. New South Wales. Tbe following will represent tbe Bed Stars in their match against the Palmerstoil Half Holiday team to- morrow on tbe Oval. Play to commence at 2.30 sharp. — Fullback, Caro ; three-quartern, W. Juiues. Smith. F. Foster ; halves, Turner, (ininliuton, P. Parr : forwards, Beecbey, Evans. J. L. Robinson, A. Foster, Brinkman, Parkos, Hurdle, Lowe, and Rosaman. The following team has been selected to represent the Unionist Football Club in a match against the Starlights, ot Marton, to be played in Messrs Gorton & Bon's paddock tomorrow (Wednesday), play to commence At 280 p.m. : Full-baek, C. Dowdall ; three-quarters — E. Haybittle, W. Gosling, O. Cleary ; halves— W. Davis (captain), G. Feak ; forwards— J. Walton, I'. Morphy, D. Morris, F. Martin, A. Bray, J. Bellve, 11. Bilderbeck. B. Hamilton, and A. Toy ; emergencies — F. Tuohy and J. Smith. The following team will represent Feilding in their Junior Cup match against Awahuri at Feildiog next Saturday :— Full-back, Keen; threequarters, Kichards, ltobinson, and Parr; halves, Aitken, Fowler, and It.
