The jury in the Goode and Crabtree case were unable to agre**, and this morning were discharged. A new trial takes place on July 3rd. Wanqaniti, This D«y. The female hospital patient named Cossev, who suffered severe injuries at Birmingham, a week ago, died lastnigh* after suffering great agony. The remains will probably be buried in Birmingham. Christchubcii. This Day. Professor Richards, medical electrician, has failed to put up his £1000 to cover X'lOO deposited by tho manager ot " Truth " newspaper in response to Richards challenge to the editor to substantiate bis statements regarding Richard's bona fides.
