JN T o new evidence was forthcoming. The prisoners reserved their defence and were committed for trial. The cattle stealing charges tlieu began, John McLean and Albert Young beiuj: charged witli stealing 28 head of cattle, valued at Ll2B 10s, the property of Mr Reid, of Munuia. The case was uvt finished yesterday.
