The attendance was _ good ; the class of stock better than f usual ; and competition keen — resulting . in overythiog being sold, excepting a pen : of springing heifers, which did not reach the vendor's reserve ; all the sheep being sold under the hammer at prices in excess of vendors' expectations. Our quota* ' tions are — Cattlilc. — Three-year steers, L 4 13s to L 4 13s 6d ; forward steers, L6 ; heifers, 1 L 4 10s lo L 7 128 6d ; milkers, L7to L 9. Sheep. — Kwes in lamb (mixed ages), 1 various prices, from 8s 9d to 13s; fullmouth ewes, 6s to 7s ; shorn lambs, 7s 6d to 8a Id.
