fl'KB PKKSS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, This Day. IV Giles, 11. M., gave judgement for the defendant in the oases Natives v. John Lniidon in connection with the Kaitaia pin-chase. The claim was for LBOO alleged to be the balance of the purchase money dno to the Natives by Ltiiidon who acted as Government Agent, in connection with Natives' purchase the Magistrate in giving his decision said it had not been proved the defendant was guilty of fraud. He had not made his balance out of the Natives, but out of the Government, and that was not a matter for him to go into. Lundon made a handsome profit out of tho Government as 4s 6d an acre was a good price for the land. The costs of defendant amount to LIOO.
