Volunteer Items
The usual competitions were continued yesterday afternoon. The small scoros were attributed to the inferior quality of the ammunition supplied by the Government. Appended are the results :—
It is specially requested that every member of the corps be present at parade this cren'mg, for the election of an officer. Mrs E. Goodbehere, the wife of our worthy Mayor, has consented to present the prizes at the Manchester Rifles' bail, on the 24th inst.
