Correspondence

"EMIGRANT" ON FREETRADE. TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAU. Sir, — It goes very much against the grain with me to take any notice of anonymous correspondence, but the letters from " Emigrant," which have lately appeared in the Star, show such lamentable ignorance of the true principles of Free-" trade that I cannot refrain from warning your readers against putting any faith in the unintelligible rubbish with which your correspondent has favored us. If " Emigrant " chooses to take any notice of this letter in /it's oicn name I will reply to it, otherwise I shall remain silent. I am, etc., Saml. Goodueherk. Feilding, May 10, 18955.
