The weather was most unfavorable on Saturday last, consequently very little progress was made iv the matches net down for decision. Evans was injured during the second spell, the Pirates playing only 14 men the remainder of the game. Mr Bear officiated as referee. Hunterville defeated Bulls, at Hunterville by a try to nil. In the Wanganui Senior Cup competition, the Waverley team beat Kaierau by 12 points to nil, the latter Club putting a weak team in the field.
