The parade held by the Manchester Rifles on Thursday last was w. 11 al* tended, thirty nine men of all ranks being present. After the corps hnd been inspected, tbe usual manual and company drill was gone through and marked improvement was apparent. After the roll was called, Lieutenant Kirton stated that Mrs Kirtoo had been invited to take part in the proceedings on the 24th instant, but he regretted she was unable to comply. There was another valuable trophy to be civen by a gentleman resident in Feilding, and also a medal by a friend, so tbat they would haie an interesting time to look forward to.
