-. — „ — +_ — Messrs Gorton & Son report larger entries of cattle than advertised, and full compliment of sheep at their sale at Fielding last Friday. Tho attendance was good and bidding fairly brisk, and at and after the sale they quitted nearly all the stock, and quote as follows : — Cattle— Heifers in calf, £4 10s to £4 15 ; forward heifers, £4 10s ; fat cows, £5 Is ; milkers, £5 12s 6d ; 2$ to 3 year old steers, £4 14s 6d ; 2 year old heifers, £3 8s dd ; store cows, £3 to £3 16s ; weaners, £1 13s ; weaners and yearlings, £2 10s. Sheep— Lambs, various prices, from 4s lOd to 6s 9d ; fat ewes, 10s 6d ; store wethers, 10s lOd ; for empty ewes, 7s 3d ; fat sheep, 10s.
