Abraham and Williams report having hold two sales during the week, viz. :-- At Colyton on Wednesday, when a full yard of sheep came forward., Business was, however, dull throughout/ the majority of stock offered being inferior classes of both ewes and 'lambs.' Suitable wethers and ybung: ewes were in fair demand and represented the only- sales effected. 1 At the Palmerston North yards a good muster of cattle came forward, chief among them being some excellent springing heifers and useful'- dairy cows. The former, from Mr Wilcox's farm at Awa* huri, made the most spirited competition we have had the pleasure to report fov many a day, all lots being cleared at rates considerably above recent sales.
