(PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, April 16. Wool Bontinues brisk, and prices are firm. Up to the present 141,200 bales haye beea catalogued, of which 133,800 bales have been sold. Tallow —Medium mutton, 30s ; beef, 275. The English wheat market is changing for the worse, the Continental is dull, and the American shows no alteration. For Australian wheat, on passage, sellers are asking 30s 6d, but buyers will not give more thah 30s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercans tile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 14th instant : — Frozen meats — Mutton market is weaker. Canterbury mutton is worth 4^d lb ; Wellington mutton, Bj|d. Lamb market weaker. Prune N.Z. lambs are worth, per carcase, sij lb. Beef market is firm. N.Z. beof, forequarters, 4d lb ; hindquarters, sd.
