• A lost purse is advertised for in our wanted column. Finder will be rewarded on bringing tho same to the Stak office. Mr John Jelieries, of Bunnythorpe, wants men to sow three or four hundred acres with grass seed. Mr Kellow, of Marton, who is well known in this district, will preach in tho Wesleyan Church to-morrow. Notice is given to-day that Mr J. H. Blackmore has been re-appointed poundkeeper and ranger for the Feilding Borough. Tho attention of farmers is directed to a roplaco advertisement, on oui first page to-day, from tho old established Dunedin firm, of Reid and Gray, iinploinont manufacturers, On Monday, lOih inst., Mr Montague, tho popular auctioneer, will sell on the premise*, at Port's House, Makino Road, the furniture of Mr A. Wells, who is leaving for Auckland. Full particulars are given in the advertisement. Mr Tripe, Dentist, will visit Feilding every Friday, where he may be consulted at Mrs Allan's, Warwick Street. This ovoning Mr J. B. Hamiltou will havo a window display from six to ten o'clock of all tho latest stylos in now winter millinery. Ladies will kindly make a note of this. The Town Clerk, Mr G. C. Hill, drives notice that the burgess and defaulters lists, are now open for inspection. All objections must be made not later than the 22nd instant. Mr Lawrence E. Reade, has notices in to-day relative to the bankruptcies of Mr Richard Geange, of Apiti, and Robert Sotmuerville, of Feilding, in which he intimates he will apply for orders of discharge at the next sitting of the Bankruptcy Court. Mr Gabites desires to draw attention to a largo and choice display which he is now showing. His seloction of winter noyelties in dresses, felt and straw hats, flowers, etc., is a very varied ono. Mr Gabites invites inspection as these aro all new goods and aro specially introduced for the winter trade. Mr O. E. Little, manager for Mr Phar azyn, gives notice that all porsons found trespassing with dog or gun ou the pro?ertio3 at Makino, Kimbolton road, or aonui will be prosecuted. All permis- ! sions to shoot must be obtained in writiug. Mrs Mary Gosling, by advertisement in another column, thanks the Fire Brigade for their exertions in putting out tho lire on her premises, and desires, at the same time, to give a word of praise also to Captain Peter Thompson, and his men who v/ere most courteous, and careful not to do any damage, Persons of delicate constitution, who are obliged to abstain from ordinary Coffee, should try Crease's Taraxacum or Dandelion Coffee, which is recommended by the highest Medical Authorities as a very valuable beverage for those suffering from weak digestion, flatulency, nervousness, etc. Not to know is not to haye. — Anvr,
