Feilding School Committee
A meeting of the above Committee was hold last night, for the purpose of electing three members for the Educatiou Board and ordinary business. The following membors were present: — Messrs Lethbridge (chairman), Thompsou, Carthew, Taylor, Worsfold, and Shearer. Tho minutos of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The undermentioned correspondence was dealt with : — From the Education Board, re improvements to the Feildinsj head master's residence, and sanctioning the same, subject to the approval of tho Board's Architect. From Messrs Beckett. Notman, Bridge and Fred Pirani soliciting the Committee's vote for tho three yacaut seats on the Wanganui Education Board. Mr Carthew proposed, and Mr Thompson seconded, that Messrs Notman, Bridge, and Beckett bo voted for by this Committee, as members of the Board. — Carried. Resolved, That Mr Goodbehere be elected auditor for the past year's accounts. Messrs Thompson and Carthew were elected a visiting Committee for the ensuing month. Several small accounts were passed for payment, and the Committee adjourned.
