Pemberton Notes
Owing to the fall of decayed limbs of trees overhanging the road, and land slips, the road between Birmingham and Pemberton is in a very bad state. Unless something is done at once, tho road will be impassable in the winter now rapidly approaching. The settlers of Bullflat, with characteristic enterprise, intend to erect a public hall to be lined for educational and pubhc purposea. Services in connection with the Wesleyan body haye been commenced at Bluff road, in the residence of Messrs Miller Bros. On Sunday afternoon last Messrs £. Miller and G. Anyon conducted services, which wero well attended and very successful. Mr Fred Harris has sold out his section at a satisfactory figure.
