The damage by floods at Singleton, 29 miles north of Maitland, is estimated at LIOO.OOO. A girl was rescued at Maitland, haying floated from SiD«leton on a handle of hay The Government Meteorologist of Queensland predicts that further floods will be experienced in Maitlaud.
