MORE OPPOSITION TO HOME RCLE. (r-KH VUESi ASSOCIATION.) London, March 11 Irish securities aro rising, owing to the Home Rule Bill being postponed. Several officers of each garrison in Ireland have been sworn in as Magistrates in order that they may take immediate action in the event of Home Rale riots without first calling on tho local Justices. Later. Leading laymen amongst the Irish Catholics, including Keuuiare, Louth, Fingall, Daniel O'Connell (grandson of the Liberator), Grattan, and Belle w, invite Catholics to petition agaiust Home Rule. March 15. .£12,000 was subscribed in a fortnight in Dublin for the purpose of resisting Home Rule. Intense excitement prevails in Ireland. Meetings in opposition to Home Rule are being held throughout the provinces, even in Cork and Waterford. At a special meeting of the Synod of the Church of England tho Primate declared Homo Rule would suppress the Protestant faith, and subject Ireland to Papal dictation. Enquiry showed that only "20 churchmen in Ireland approve of Home Rule.
