The New Zealand Loan and Mercan» tile Aeency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London, office, duted the 10th inst. : — Frozen meats — Mutton runrket firmer ; Canterbury mm ton is worth 4\d per lb ; other quotations unchanged since last telegram Lamb nvirk.t quiet; prime New Zealand lambs are worth per car* case 6d per lb Tallow— Market dull ; tallow has declined, nominally, Is per cwt since last report. March 12 There is considerable activity in ihf wool ninrket, and since the close of last sales 4000 bales have been disposed of privately. Prices are slightly tirtner than closing rales. The arrivals up (o date fotal 220,000 bales, of which 70,000 bales were sent forward direct to the manufacturing districts. There is a steady demand for fnctorymnde butter. It is expected that the prices of incoming shipments frill be reduced.
