Messrs Gorton and Son report as follows:— We held three stock sales last week at Marton, Sanson, and Hnnterville. "We quote :— Cattle— Marton : forward heifers, AM 4s 6d ; 18-iuonths steers, £3 Is ; milkers, £4. Sanson : fat cows, £4. 12s 6d ; 18-months steers, X' 35s ; .year steers, £2 11s to L 2 Via 6d ; weaners, 27s to 375. Hunterville: bullocks, £i ]0s; mixed yearlings, £i 2s to i' 2 15s ; 18---month steers, £2 5s ; 2 year heifers, k'6 2s 6d ; 2.year steers, £'i 12s 6d ; mixed weaners £1 15s. Sheep — Marton : breeding ewes, 8s 3d ; mixed sheep, 9s 6d ; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 10s 6d. Sandon : 2-tooth wethers, 9s 9d to Us 6d ; fat and forward sheep, 9s ; forward ewes, 7s ; woolly lambs, 5s to 7s 8d ; shorn lambs, 5s to 6s. Hnnterville ; breeding ewes, 5s 4d to 9s Id ; fat wethers, 11s 9d ; shorn lambs, 3s 2d to 4s 7d.
