It was decided that jEIOO should be cabled away at once to Queensland. A donation of 5 cwt of flour was also received from Messrs Chamberlain Bros, and will be forwarded immediately. On the proposition of Mr Bastings, it was resolved that another meeting be held at Mr Bray's office on Monday, the 18th of March, at 8 p.m., by which date all lists should be forthcoming. There are still seven more lists to be sent in, and the concert has yet to take place, so it is anticipated that about £150 will be the result of the collections to the fund in this district.
