Volunteer Items
Tho Manchester Rifles; will send a team to Bulls to-morrow to try conclusions with a team chosen from the Ilmigitikei Cavalry. The latter will entertain the visitors at a dinner at the conclusion of the match. The Manchester Rifles will parade for drill and inspection in the Assembly Rooms on Thursday evening. It is understood that Col. Fox has recommended the New Zealand volunteers to be armed with the Martini- Henry rifle.
