(PKR PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Melbourne February 10. Disastrous bush fires are raging in different parts of the country. Many miles of forest are on fire in Gippsland, and nt Meraag, near Melbourne, 60.000 acred have been swept by the flames. Great damage has been done to crops. The wether is very hot. This Day. The chief sufferers by the disastrous bush and grass fires which have been raging this week are struggling orchard* ists who have lost the savings of a lifetime. It is a gloomy outlook for farmers whose winter feed has been destrojed.
