« A meeting of the creditor.-! of Richard Geange, laborer, of Apiti, was held today. Mr Scott the Deputy Official Assignee, presided. Thompson, £28 5s Id ; Cobbe A Darragh, £9 ; James Simpson, Birmingham, £11 Total. £146 12s Bd. Assets -Household Furniture, £10; Wearing apparel. £3; wages due from L. Oldham, £7. Total, £20. Leaving a deficiency of L 146 12s 8.1. j Mr Scott, D.0.A., stated that he intended in all cases which came before him under the Act, if no complete statement of cash receipts and expenditure are furnished as in this case, he intended to fully examine the debtor himself, and so become personally cognizant of the whole surroundings of every case brought before him.
