Wanganui Education Board
The monthly meeiinp of the Education Board was commenced last night Messrs Carson (Chairman), Sanson, Bridge, Fry, Beckett, Hurley, and Notraan were present. Stoney Creek. — The teacher to receive three months' notice. Pemberton. — The resignation of the teacher, caused by his leaving for England, was received, and at his request it was agreed to keep his name on the list for future employment. It was resolved to suggest the name of Mr Stansell, of Foxton, for the vacancy. Birmingham. — An application for a pupil teacher was refused, as the school is not yet entitled to one. After further business the Board adjourned until 10 o'clock this morning.
