Fatal Accident

(PKU I'KESS ASSOCIATION.) Kkepion, January 21. A fratal accident happened to the Kecfiou Westport mail coach to-day at Lurry's Creek, whereby the driver, J. Herrlott, and three horses were drowned. On arriving at the creek, the driver found the water lower than when he crossed last night and determiued to cross. The passenger refused, and attempted to cross on a footbridge. It appears the coach went all right until this ford was reached when the horses seemed to be carried off their feet, and the coach capsized. Herrlott was seen after the coacli capsized several times struggling bravely to get ashore. The coach was completely wrecked, and the mails washed down the river,. Search parties and the police are novy out seeking for the driver's body and the mails. The untimely end of Herrlott is deeply re* aretted.
