WANOANUI V. FEILDING. A very onioyablo match betwoen the abovo mentioned Clubs took place yestordaj ou tho grounds of the Foildiiiff L.T. Club. Tho visitors were met on their arrival by the energetic Secretary who oscorted thorn to the Manchester Hotel, whence, havin«changed, a move was tnado to the scone of warfare, and no t'.rao was lost in commencing proceedings. The visitors numbered in thoir ranks an exuhampion for the Colony in tho persou of Mr J. Marshall and there was no doubt that it waa owiug to this gentleman's play all round that Wangauui eventually won by 10 games. The other mouibors also played well. For tho losors I>yor and Lanco played pluckilj' but Barton was not up to his usual form. Mr L. E. Heade actod as scoror throughout. Subjoined are tho results of tho gamos :— '-
