Mrs Johnston, a widow residing in Balmain, in it tit of insanity, murdered her infant child by inserting her hands in its mouth and tearing the tongue and bottom of the mouth out. Adelaide, January 9. [ A sensation ha 9 been caused in religious circles by tho resignation of the Rev, Mr Green, of the Baptist Church, j Semaphore. In sending in his resignation he stated that he considered that the fact of being a dissenter was an offence against God, and regarded the demoninations of [ human society established by schismatics and the propagation of certain dogmas, as not being either Catholic or Apostolic.
