Land Sale at Palmerston
The great land sale commences tomorrow (Wednesday), at Palmerston. The property consists of four estates, and is being sold by order of the administrators of the estate of the late Mr John Manson, of The Pines, Feilding. The whole comprises close on 14,000 acres. '. The Edinkillie Park estate consists of j some 0000 acres of really grand fattening land, in the Kairanga district. The Waituna estate, of over 7000 acres, situated about 12 miles from Feilding and four from Haleombe, is also a most valuable property, both for grazing and cropping. The Manchester Block estate, consisting of over 2500 acres of great carrying capabilities, is about nine miles from Feildiug ; whilst the fourth or Manganui Block, of 700 acres, is close to Stratford. The lands have been laid down in the most thorough manner for lasting results, are nearly all freehold, and this sale undoubtedly affords an excellent opportunity for acquiring very valuable farms. The auctioneers, are Messrs Gorton and Son, Abraham and Williams, and Freeman R. Jackson and Company.
