Poisoning Case at Auckland
(PEB J?BESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland. January 6 The inquest on the body of Walter Nelson, who dipd in Union street last night under circumstances showing that he hid been poisoned, wns commenced to« day, but was adjourned until Friday next. The evidence showed that the tartar used in making the jtm roll whs bought from a grocer named Boyle. The other two members or, the family, who ate of the sandwich, vomited freely and recovered. Dr Lawry said he had submilted some of the creum of tarter to an analytical chemist, who found that it contained arsenic.
