Feilding Good Templars

A meeting of members of the newly formed lodge of Good Templars was held in the Foresters' Hall last Tuesday evening. At the conclusion of the business the following programme was gone through : — Mr Harrison sang " The little hero" splendidly. Messrs Downey and Perkins contributed recitations. Mr Bennetts sang " Nil Desperandmn," and the Misses Bennetts, Poad (2) and Curtis rendered a selection very pleasingly. Messrs Long and Bennetts each gave a reading, and a very enjoyable evening was spent. It is the intention to hold these gatherings at regular and stated intervals, of which due notice will be given.
